My ex is Brazilian and is flying back to the USA today... I am sure they're gonna be heart broken too.

I'm certain they will. It was just shocking. I knew it was going to be a hard game, but this was brutal. ^^

I just stood in awe the whole game.

Poor poor Brazil.

IKR??? I sat in shock all through it. :(

I wasn't cheering for anyone in particular, but I did not wish it to go like that. My heart broke for them, and all the fans who were crying. It was devastating to watch. After the 3rd I was cheering hard for Brazil. I was so hoping for a comeback for them.

Dios mio. :{

It was absolutely devastating to see them falling apart like that. There was a moment when they just stood there, so lost. Jesus. D:

Yeah. It still hurts. It's going to hurt for a long time. :(

After the third goal, I wanted Germany to stop going for the Brazilian side. I had a feeling even the German team didn't want to shoot for the goal anymore. Brazil was so broken.
welcome to villa cariño!capitu on July 9th, 2014 12:53 am (UTC)
You know, they all happened so fast. All the first five happened in the first half an hour, and after that it was a mess. The Brazilian team was so lost and broken, at moments they stood there, there was no game, they didn't mark, they were so broken, it was painful to watch.

My heart was going to break for any of them today, but as I watched the game all I could think of was, 'not like this'. It was devastating.

So sorry, dear, it sounds horrible for you.

It was traumatic, even. I'm not kidding. :( For the books.

But the orgy thing at the fest made me laugh. <3

I was rooting for Brazil. I'm sorry, luv

:( *hug* I think the whole world was expecting more, and the way the result came was a shock for all.

The whole thing was surreal and devastating. I felt so bad for Brazil. I wonder what it was like for Silva and Neymar to watch the game. This was just sad all around.
welcome to villa cariño!capitu on July 9th, 2014 12:59 pm (UTC)
I image they were heart-broken. I mean, to a very high degree I'm sure they feel responsible for what happened. The team never had it together to begin with, and then after the first 3 they fell apart. :(
Roelroelliej on July 9th, 2014 07:18 am (UTC)
I wasn't able to watch the game yesterday, but saw a summary this morning.

Brazil was bad. Very, very bad. Germany didn't have to play at their best to humiliate them.

I felt sorry for the supporters (that poor boy crying after 0-3 :-() though.

Congratulations, Germany! :-)

*big comforting hug*

It was pretty devastating. A team that usually offers so much, has so much soul to see them so lost there, it was painful. :(

I kind of just kept thinking 'WTF Germany, you can STAHP NOW, that is ENOUGH D:'
welcome to villa cariño!capitu on July 9th, 2014 01:04 pm (UTC)
I know!!! The thing is, they really didn't have to try very hard. D: It still hurts.
nia_kantorkania_kantorka on July 9th, 2014 08:31 am (UTC)
Yes, it was horrible to watch. After the fourth goal I sat there squirming on my seat. Although I'm proud our boys won and played well the first half, I wish it wouldn't have been like that. Brazil just did resign.
But the Brazilians who whistled and booed ought to be ashamend of themselves. That broke my heart too.
welcome to villa cariño!capitu on July 9th, 2014 01:07 pm (UTC)
I didn't see that! And I'm glad I didn't, hearing about it today makes me so sad. I mean, of course it hurts them, the fans and the whole country, but those are their guys out there, their players, they deserve their loyalty.

I'm happy for Germany though, you know I love that team. <3 I wish the game had been different though.

I definitely felt bad for Brazil but mostly I was happy for my country (although I felt bad about it, especially after the first 3 goals :/)

I justed posted a comment on my LJ from a German sports commentator, he said something like "The Brazil players were too emotianally involved. You can't enjoy and win a game when you have the burdens of your country on you mind, a burden that football players shouldn't and can't carry. It broke them and made them unable to play. For all the emphasis they put on emotional and religious support, seeing the audience turn on their own country's players was painful to watch, that was just unfair to the Brazilian team." I'm inclinced to agree, I felt sorry for the team :/

I feel sad for Brazil but there's still one more game for them to play, so hopefully they'll get a bit of their motivation back before Saturday...

And you should be happy! *hugs* You guys have made a great campaign at the cup. You deserve to be in the final. <3

But this game, it still hurts, you know? And that guy is right in many ways. After the first ten minutes, Brazil offered no game. They didn't mark, they didn't play. After the first ten minutes they folded, they simply stopped playing and the rest was a torture. They were defeated from the beginning. They went into this with this huge load on their shoulders and they couldn't carry it through. It's very sad.

I didn't see the game, just some clips online of the goals etc., and . . . yeah. I feel bad for Brazil. Five goals in under 20 minutes is just unreal, and they just looked more and more defeated every time :(

I am happy my country's team won, but it would have been so much better for both teams if they'd played on the same level - then the Brazilian would have been able to be proud of themselves.

welcome to villa cariño!capitu on July 9th, 2014 06:39 pm (UTC)
I'm happy for your country too. It would have been ideal if, whatever result came, it would make both teams proud. *nods* That is the sprit, yeah? Seeing a team so defeated, it's just sad. :(
